My mom still has her very old mixer from when she was a teenager. When you have it on the slowest setting, it slowly incorporates the dry ingredients in. I've whipped cream, eggs, creamed cold butter to make chocolate chip cookies, and whipped up mashed potatoes and it did it all without being super loud. My old mixer sounded like a 747 taking flight. The slow speeds are actually slow and the high speed is more than adequate. In fact, I accidentally overbeat my mashed potatoes into a gluey mass because the sound was so quiet and the speed was so much slower than I'm used to

he lightweight really makes a difference. I usually only use my stand-mixer and I remember hating hand-mixers because my arms would get so tired, but sometimes you need an extra mixer. This mixer is so light that my arms never get sore and the power-fullness surprised me, given its weight.

It works great but the tongs are difficult to remove. It mixed a recipe with almost 3 cups of nuts, oatmeal, chocolate chips, flour and all the rest quite effortlessly! I’ve had issues with this recipe using mixers with the regular, flat tongs throwing batter all over the place but these skinny, fast tongs are a clear winner!!! And the last mixer I had did have the skinny tongs but it wasn’t as crazy fast as this one!

This is the Best hand mixer I have ever had. Even thought it is lightweight, it does a great job at all its speeds. The mixing blades are easy to remove and clean. The mixer stands on the counter with ease and does not fall over. I have arthritis in my hands, so lifting, holding, and working a mixer is difficult for me - this hand mixer has made it easy for me to continue making cookies, cakes, etc. and my hands do not hurt or tire. I have been using this hand mixer for almost 2 years now. While I may not use it daily or even multiple times each week (depending on the week), I do seem to use it several times a month. I thus far I have not had any difficulties with it. The following are the things I really like about it: - The simple easy to use on/off and speed buttons being at the top - The 9 different speeds. I like how it starts at a slow speed to prevent splattering and the gradual ability to build up the speed. Which the higher up it goes, can be very aggressive.

This is an excellent hand mixer. It has amazing power and I was able to whip up maringues within 5 minutes. The machine is a little heavy, but it is extremely powerful. The whisks and hooks are solid metal and it feels like a quality product. One especially nice feature is the button for lowering or raising the speed. It is easy to access and extremely intuitive.

Have used this many times and have been very happy with its operation. The plastic accessories holder is a fantastic idea. Don't have to be looking for them when they get lost in a drawer. I highly recommend this if you don't have the room or want a large table tops mixer.

impulsively bought this mixer after it wa spit on Oprah’s Favorite Things. I’d been wanting a hand mixer for a while and this one was inexpensive enough that I figured, even if it breaks I’m not out a ton of money. I purchased the turquoise and it is much more blue in person, but I like it! I’ve had it less than a week and I already used it to whip up some macarons - flawless! Super easy to use and I liked the helix mixers. I’d totally recommend this purchase based on the fact that all attachments stay with the mixer, but it also worked very well!

I had a Cuisinart mixer from 1991 that I loved, but it died. I replaced it with a Hamilton Beach mixer that I hated because it constantly sprayed batter everywhere even on low speed. I saw this mixer, I was intrigued with the beaters. I used it today to make cupcakes and buttercream frosting, it was great, powerful but quiet, no mess either. Can't wait to use it for other baking too!

I am a baker and although alot of bakers or others love there stand mixers I prefer to use a hand mixer for most jobs. This handmixer is the best. The attachments don't get rusty like all the other mixers I've had and when I'm mixing in a metal bowl it doesn't clank off the sides but it feels like it's a smooth mix.
